9h22 For unknown reasons we are experiencing problems towards SKYNET and SCARLET. Only some random IP Ranges or random IP Addresses are affected, whilst some some are not affected. The problem is located on the BNIX router of Skynet.

10h59 SKYNET && SCARLET are experiencing MAJOR problems on their network due to internal routing problems at Belgacom. Belgacom has not released more information about their network but we received a confirmation of routing problems from inside Belgacom SA.

11h26 It seems that routes to/from Belgacom Skynet/Scarlet are stable again over all transit providers. We will start rerouting routes to original routing path.

12h30 Belgacom's spokeman, Jan Margot, has confirmed routing problems on the Internet Backbone of Belgacom. "During routine maintenance something went wrong causing the internet traffic to be seriuously delayed. In some cases this resulted in total loss of connectivity.", he said.
Jan Margot confirms that the problems should now (11h15) be solved.
