PLT Import for AutoCAD is a HPGL Plot (.plt) file import plug-in for AutoCAD®. This plug-in gives AutoCAD the ability to import geometric data from ASCII and Binary PLT files. PLT Import for AutoCAD reads pen movement data stored PLT files and imports it into AutoCAD. A HPGL PLT file is comprised of a set of instructions related to pen movements of HPGL plotters. PLT Import for AutoCAD reads these pen movement instructions and creates curve objects in the active AutoCAD drawing. PLT Import for AutoCAD supports the following HP plotters: Hewlett-Packard 7475A Hewlett-Packard 7550A Hewlett-Packard 7580B Hewlett-Packard 7585B Hewlett-Packard 7586B Hewlett-Packard Draftmaster 1 (7595A) Hewlett-Packard Draftmaster 2 (7596A) Hewlett-Packard Draftpro (7570A) Hewlett-Packard Draftpro-DXL (7575A) Hewlett-Packard Draftpro-EXL (7576A) PLT Import for AutoCAD is very easy to use.
