She is well known for her role as the host and judge of the reality television show America's Next Top Model. She reported that she was not going to starve herself to compete with other very thin models. Tyra left the modeling business in 2005. She went on to appear on the television show Felicity. She went on to play many small roles in both television and film. She also costarred in Life-Size opposite Lindsay Lohan. In the year 2000, Tyra began to broaden her horizons. Today, she is the head judge, host, and executive producer of America's Next Top Model. In 2005, the Tyra Banks show entered the television lineup. Similar in many ways to Oprah, Tyra's show deals with real issues facing women today. Her contagious smile, sincere concern, and warm personality are just a few of the reasons why the network has renewed the show for another season.
