BosqMap software is a .mbx program for MapInfo which enables the user to add, view and edit data held in MapInfo tables, simply and easily link tables to other tables and link multiple photos and other files to map-objects and all this through one simple MapInfo dialog box or MapInfo form. BosqMap can display your existing MapInfo tables or can be used to design new ones BosqMap uses dynamic dialog boxes to display data in a standardised format with multiple options for data entry and viewing. It has been designed for use in the office and in the field and simplifies MapInfo data entry and collection and minimises the scope for user error. BosqMap can display your existing MapInfo tables or can be used to design new and customise existing ones. BosqMap does not modify MapInfo files (other than through the normal save procedure) so can be used in conjunction with other MapInfo applications. How it works: BosqMap works by placing a file (extension .gjs) in the same directory as the MapInfo .tab file. BosqMap then reads this file and uses the information it contains to display the data in the table. Linked Tables, Photographs and Documents are all referenced through this file. BosqMap uses a .mbx file compiled in MapBasic to display the data and does not rely on external applications. Each column in a table can be displayed as either editable text, a dropdown menu or a tick box and is displayed in the data display dialog box. User can add and view photos and documents, and link tables to each other. This is all accessible through the same dialog box. There is no limit to the number of BosqMap tables that can be open; each with their own dynamic data display dialog. BosqMap is an evaluable extra for all MapInfo users and discounts are available for educational and charitable institutions, and bulk orders.
