AlmDesk is a process-oriented program to manage all laundry activities from garments reception to restitution. At reception, a graphic and/or textual buttons select items while corresponding process note is shown at right. Touch-screen can be used to such purpose. Many price-lists can be defined to specify items and treatment costs. Assigning a specific cost to an item is possible. One or more clients can have a price-list automatically associated. Partial or modified restitution is supported. Client's register, bar-code reader, fidelity cards with advanced payment and points for sales promotions are available. A message can be arranged when a lot size of received garments is reached. Starting restitution by client's code, the return of all his processes can be chained. Cash daily total and laundry statistics are available arranged by reception/restitution day, by garment type and by treatment. The program prints process notes and fiscal receipts. To mark garments, automatically manages the numbering of up to 16 different colored blocks already available on the market. Activities export to Office and Open Office is available. A list with all received items for a period and/or a client can easily compiled to transfer document or invoice purpose. The program runs with Linux Wine too. AlmDesk arises from a previous version used successfully in over 50 laundries. English & Italian are available and other languages can be added by simply translate an open language file with extension .als. Simple tutorials cut learn curve to be operative in few hours. A search form allows filtering operations by reference, by number and coloring of items marking or by client's code. Free to download and use for 90 days, AlmDesk can be installed again with clean archives.
