After waiting years for an Android app, I was shocked to learn that the app does not have my purchased Apple TV shows and movies. This makes it fundamentally different than the Android TV app version which has had a version of this app with your purchased content for years. Extremely disappointed that I won't be able to access my library of media that I've already purchased and this is just a way to forced me into another subscription.

In order to be accurately named, the app should be called "Apple TV+" since you can only access the subscription-based content and not purchased shows/movies through the app. That makes the app fundamentally useless, because nobody uses Apple TV+ even after they finally, after 5 years from its initial launch, decided to begrudgingly support it on the remaining 60% of the phones in this world. I just want to watch my old iTunes stuff on my phone.

I am glad to finally be able to watch my Apple TV+ shows on my fold! I have two downsides, though. 1. my shows do not always sync across my devices. 2. when watching on my Fold, the app's brightness will flicker between super dark and where it is supposed to be. along with this second issue, it randomly has flickers of black during playback, too. I do not have these issues with other streaming apps, so i know it is most definitely due to the Apple TV app.
